A family owned corporation, originating in Hutchinson, Minnesota in 1984, followed by Cosmos in 2003 and most recently Silver Lake in 2009. Today we continue to serve our residents in our Silver Lake location. Our goal is to provide 24 hour personalized care to our residents. Cedar Crest has and always will be a place to call home with the security of knowing your needs will be met.
Our trained care team consists of Certified Nurses Aides, Home Health Aides, Trained Medication Aides and Licensed Nurses. A Licensed Nurse is in the building or on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Our team also includes Resident Coordinators, Activity Directors, Scheduling Coordinators, Dietary, Housekeeping and Maintenance staff. All of which play an important role within Cedar Crest. Residents are the first priority of the staff at Cedar Crest Estate. With teamwork, compassion and integrity, we aim to provide only the best care to our residents.

Licensed as a Comprehensive Long Term Care Facility, there is very little difference between us and a nursing home. Cedar Crest Estate has provided a home-like setting while meeting the individual needs of our residents for over thirty years.
We are approved for financial assistance through local counties. Long term care insurance that covers home health care will also pay towards the care services we provide. Cedar Crest Estate is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health as well as the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
