At Cedar Crest we are able to accommodate to each resident in their personal living space. You do not have to move to another location within our community if your physical dependencies increase. We accommodate to you, not the other way around. The private suite you move into is the same one you will stay in even if your care level increase or your financial situation changes. We provide all our residents with a private apartment suite regardless of your financial situation. Cedar Crest is approved for financial assistance and long-term care insurance that covers home health care. We are licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health and Human Services Department.
Cedar Crest provides all levels of mobility and transferring. We do two person transfers, as well as, easy stand or hoyer lift transfers, depending on individual need.

Cedar Crest is a family owned business, founded by Roz Ewald in 1984. With her entrepreneurial spirit and compassion for the elderly she began Cedar Crest, one of the first of its kind, in its approach to care for the needs of the elderly. Cedar Crest has and always will be a place to call home with the security of knowing your needs will be met.
Our health and wellness teams work hard to ensure the needs of our residents are met. Our caregivers are passionate, caring individuals with great personalities, and they are trained to provide the best service available, all with a healthy dose of patience, support, and humor. So once you move in, you can bet that life will get easier, more relaxing and fun.
Our trained care team consists of Certified Nurses Aides, Home Health Aides, Trained Medication Aides and Licensed Nurses. A Licensed Nurse is in the building or on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Our team also includes Resident Coordinators, Community Coordinator, Activity Directors, Scheduling Coordinator, Dietary, Housekeeping and Maintenance staff. All of which play an important role within Cedar Crest. With teamwork, compassion and integrity, we aim to provide only the best care to our residents.
